You are invited to attend the 2026 Hessdalen Field Trip & Conference, taking place 28 - 31 August.
This event brings together global experts to explore one of the world's most famous hotspots for unexplained light phenomena, across three locations in Norway; Trondheim, Hessdalen, and Røros.
There are three stages to the conference:
STAGE 1: The Data | What are sensors and radars actually capturing?
Examining the raw measurements and inexplicable evidence from the field.
STAGE 2: The Science | Academic analysis of the data.
Keynote speaker Francisco Mourão Corrêa (Co-Founder and European Director of ICER).
STAGE 3: The Experience | The human dimension.
First-hand, incredible accounts from eyewitnesses who have stood face-to-face with the phenomenon.
Don't miss this rare opportunity to combine a high-level scientific conference with an exclusive field trip.

More Ways to Spread the Word

Helping Project Hessdalen grow is not only about posters and social media. You can also support the project by becoming a member, volunteering, or introducing others to our work.

Financial support helps cover essential infrastructure such as internet services, data storage, and systems used to collect and share observations. Volunteers help develop technology, analyze data, organize events, and move the project forward.

If you are interested in contributing — now or in the future — or know someone who might be, your support is greatly appreciated.
