"There’s a mystery unfolding in the quaint landscape of rural Norway. Most people know Norway as the country ranked 7th on the world happiness index, the country with those iconic fjords, and one of the best places to see the Northern Lights.
But in a small valley, barely 12 kilometers long, there have been sightings of bizarre flying objects that seem to move at incredible speeds and vanish within seconds. In the past century, there have been hundreds of reports of such objects, and all of them have agreed on just one thing: what they saw was a UFO.
This is the bizarre true case of Norway’s Ongoing UFO Mystery. The Hessdalen Lights"

"Every year, computer scientist Andreas Kerpe from Germany travels to Hessdalen, a high valley south of Trondheim in Norway. The 59-year-old wants to observe and investigate the so-called Hessdalen phenomenon. In the early 1980s, Norwegian media first reported that residents were seeing mysterious lights or even objects in the skies above Hessdalen. Together with other enthusiasts and scientists, he wants to find an explanation for the UFOs, or unidentified flying objects. So far, there are only unproven theories for an earthly origin of the lights. Other amateur UFO hunters, such as Anneli Sarre from Sweden, are convinced that the lights are evidence of extraterrestrial contact."

"Hessdalen is a small village in a remote valley in Norway.
There have been observed strange lights in the sky for years.
I decided to go and have a look :)"

"Professor Erling P. Strand, an expert in electronics and telecommunications, is one of the leading researchers studying the unexplained luminous phenomenon in Norway’s Hessdalen Valley. In an exclusive interview, he shared the history of the Hessdalen Project, key observations, scientific methodologies used, and the latest findings. This article highlights crucial moments of this extraordinary scientific investigation and presents the most recent project data."

"Hidden in the remote valleys of Norway, the Hessdalen lights defy explanation. Since 1983, Project Hessdalen has captured the world's imagination, documenting sightings with cutting-edge tools and the pioneering Blue Box—the first-ever automated anomaly detector. What causes these lights? Could they hold secrets about our universe? Join us for an exclusive interview to uncover the fascinating history, groundbreaking discoveries, and what’s next in this extraordinary journey. Don’t just watch—be part of the mystery."

We had more than 1 hour conversation with Jack Conner.
Some history, some interesting cases, some about the work we have done after we registered as a non-profit.

Professor Erling Strand, the Founder of the Hessdalen Project, joins Northland MUFON for an afternoon of interesting stories and scientific data to show that the Hessdalen Lights are a true phenomenon worthy of study. The Hessdalen lights: (From Wikipedia) The Hessdalen lights appear both by day and by night, and seem to float through and above the valley. They are usually bright white, yellow or red and can appear above and below the horizon. [1] The duration of the phenomenon may be a few seconds to well over an hour. Sometimes the lights move with enormous speed; at other times they seem to sway slowly back and forth. On yet other occasions, they hover in mid‑air. [2] Unusual lights have been reported in the region since at least the 1930s.[3] Especially high activity occurred between December 1981 and mid-1984, during which the lights were observed 15–20 times per week, attracting many overnight tourists. [4] As of 2010, the number of observations had dwindled, with only 10 to 20 sightings yearly.
